During my seven-month contract at Cinvest, I had the incredible opportunity to work as a UX/UI designer in a dynamic and innovative startup environment. The Problem
Startups in Vietnam face a pressing challenge in accessing capital and strategic support to fuel their growth and innovation.
In a rapidly evolving entrepreneurial landscape, startups in Vietnam face the exciting yet daunting task of fueling their innovation and growth. They possess groundbreaking ideas and boundless potential, but often find themselves constrained by the scarcity of resources and the struggle to connect with investors who share their vision.
A glimpse into my journey
Working in the heart of a small startup was a transformative experience for me. It provided a unique platform for learning and growth, where every day presented new challenges and opportunities.
01 - Building from Scratch
One of the most exciting aspects of my role was the chance to be part of a product's inception, right from the drawing board. I actively contributed to brainstorming sessions where we ideated, conceptualized, and designed a new platform that would address real user needs. This stage required creativity, adaptability, and the ability to envision a seamless user experience, ensuring that our product would truly resonate with our target audience.
02 - Cross-Functional Collaboration
Working in a startup environment meant wearing multiple hats and being exposed to various aspects of product development. I seamlessly transitioned between roles, collaborating closely with cross-functional teams that included developers, marketers, and business strategists. This multifaceted experience broadened my perspective and gave me a holistic understanding of the product development process.
03 - User-Centered Design
While I can't disclose specific project details, I was deeply involved in the creation of user-centric designs that aimed to address real-world problems. My role involved conducting extensive user research, crafting wireframes, prototyping, and ultimately translating these concepts into intuitive and visually appealing user interfaces. The emphasis was always on delivering designs that not only looked great but also provided meaningful solutions to users' needs and pain points.
These experiences at Cinvest allowed me to immerse myself in every facet of UX/UI design, from the initial stages of product conception to the hands-on creation of user-friendly interfaces. It was a journey filled with learning, growth, and the satisfaction of contributing to the development of a transformative platform.
